TAGS

Using tags

Tags are how you find recipes later. Use the words you'd actually search for, ingredients, moods, occasions, and “we have cabbage left” leads straight to tonight's dish.

Recipick tag screen

Create tags

Tags are created from the Tags screen. Any name works. A good start is your main ingredients, "chicken", "beef", "cabbage", plus a few conditions you use often, like "quick" and "make ahead". Tags are shared in the group, so the ones your partner makes are yours too.

Free plan limit: 10 tags. Premium removes the limit.

Tag a recipe

  1. Enter the name and notes on the recipe screen
  2. Matching tags are suggested from the ones you've created (about half a second)
  3. Keep the ones that fit, remove the rest, add any that are missing

Suggestions only come from tags your group created. How suggestions work

Find recipes by tag

Pick a tag on the Tags screen to see every recipe with it. You can also search by recipe name or tag name. When someone says "we have cabbage, what do you want from the cabbage tag?", the other person opens the tag and picks.

Screen-by-screen steps are in the in-app help (Tags).
